SUPERVALU Selects EDICT Systems to Support Their Supply Chain EDI Enabling Initiative

DAYTON, Ohio, July 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Advant-e Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: ADVC - news) is pleased to announce that SUPERVALU (NYSE: SVU - news) has selected EDICT Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Advant-e, to assist SUPERVALU with its supply chain Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) enabling initiative.

EDICT Systems is providing a web-based solution, www.GroceryEC.com , that helps small and medium size grocery suppliers transact business electronically with SUPERVALU, the nation's largest distributor to grocery retailers and 10th largest supermarket retailer.

EDICT Systems will provide testing and certification services for SUPERVALU suppliers who are already EDI-enabled. These suppliers will also be offered lower-cost Value-Added Network (VAN) services via EnterpriseEC®, an Internet VAN offered by EDICT Systems that uses the Internet to reduce the cost of doing EDI while adding additional features and functionality.
