Edict Systems and iSoft Form an Alliance to Deliver Large
Companies the Long Promised 100% e-Business Connected Trading
Community
DAYTON, Ohio and ADDISON, Texas, April 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/
-- Edict Systems, Inc., a wholly owned and sole operating
subsidiary of Advant-e Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: AVEE
- News)
and a leading provider of Business- to-Business Trading Community
Solutions today announced it has formed an Alliance with iSoft
Corporation, a leading provider of business community connectivity
solutions. The companies plan to jointly market and deliver
larger companies heavily invested in previous e-Business initiatives,
such as EDI, with the long promised solutions to easily and
cost-effectively transact with 100% of their trading community.
Under the terms of the Alliance, Edict Systems will market
the iSoft Commerce Suite product family to its customers and
their trading communities. Edict Systems will also integrate
iSoft Commerce Suite into EnterpriseEC® an Electronic
Trading Network (ETN) that provides customers with a web-based
interface to track and manage trading communities and transactions.
Edict Systems customers now have the ability to purchase certified
peer-to-peer software supporting standards such as EDI-INT
AS2 directly from Edict Systems to support mandates by leading
retailers and other large buying organizations, and with the
same software, connect to EnterpriseEC® for connections
to other trading partners who do not yet support peer-to-peer
connectivity. EnterpriseEC® is also suitable for low volume
trading partners who desire a managed connectivity solution.
iSoft will market Edict Systems solutions to their customers
who have acquired the iSoft Commerce Suite for connectivity
solutions who also require additional services to connect,
integrate, manage, and expand their trading partner relationships.
These services are targeted at companies who want to maximize
the value of their e-Business initiatives by conducting electronic
commerce with more of their trading partners. A key element
of this Alliance will be Edict Systems providing iSoft customers
with Trading Community Ramping services to assess each targeted
trading partner's e-Business readiness and offer them an appropriate
cost-effective solution to their individual needs.
